Hiking to a beautiful waterfall - One of Santiago's protected areas.

If you got a day in Santiago and you want to visit the nearby mountains, have a relax day on the trails and enjoy the outdoors very close to the city you need to book this program.

This is one of the protected areas located to the east of the city of Santiago, where the trails can take you as far as 3,300 m above sea level, the highest point of the mountain chain in front of the city (Cerro San Ramón).

The main trail of the park takes you to Salto de Apoquindo or Apoquindo's waterfall where we will stop to have lunch with the peaceful sound of the water and the incredible views to the lower valley.

Guided by a professional Ecotourism projects manager with Wilderness First Aid certification, technical courses and deep knowledge about the area, geology, plants, birds and much more!

Mode of transport depends on the size of the group: From 0 to 3: a 4wd Ford Ranger or similar, from 3-6 a Hyundai H1 Van, From 7-10 Nissan NV 350, from 10-16 Mercedes Sprinter 515

Attractions visited: Aguas de Ramón Natural Park

Itinerary:

08:00 AM Pick up at your place in Santiago

09:00 We arrive to the national park located in the east side of the city.

12:00 We arrive at the waterfall

12:30 Cheese and wine

13:00 Lunch at a picnic spot in the park

14:00 Start getting down to the parking area

16:00 Back in your place in Santiago
